WelcomeWelcome to RichardEurich.co.uk, a site dedicated to the life and work of British painter Richard Eurich and put together on behalf of the Eurich family. 2003, the centenary year of the Richard Eurich's birth, saw a number of events and exhibitions to mark the occasion, and to celebrate the ongoing interst in Richard Eurich's painting and life. These exhibitions proved a great success. More than this however, over the coming months and years we'd like to invite visitors to contact us with any information they may have regarding Richard Eurich and his work. This could be information on the whereabouts of pieces of work, dates of past exhibitions that you may have attended, details of any publications or articles that refer to him or his work, or any anecdotal contributions such as meetings with him or stories about him. In short, we would like to piece together a picture of the life and work and collectively provide an insight into this very private man. Being online, will also give us the opportunity to show some of the work that he produced over more than half a century including many works never seen in public before. This should provide an opportunity to gain some perspective on his contribution to 20th century British Art and enjoy some of his work whether you are already familiar with some of it, or if you have never seen any before. Also don't miss extracts from his unpublished autobiography |
